These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ScholarMark, operated by DECENTRASEC (PRIVATE) LIMITED. Please review them carefully.
Corporate Identity & Platform Scope
- ScholarMark is a proprietary academic integrity platform owned and operated by DECENTRASEC (PRIVATE) LIMITED (DBA ScholarMark).
- We provide AI research readiness checks, double-blind peer review coordination, and cryptographic Proof-of-Discovery publication seals.
- By creating an account or transacting on ScholarMark, you acknowledge and agree to these legally binding Terms of Service.
Prohibited Content & Restricted Activities
- You strictly agree not to upload, store, or transmit any illegal, defamatory, harmful, fraudulent, or obscene material.
- The platform strictly prohibits academic dishonesty, plagiarism-for-hire, contract cheating, and essay-mill services.
- You must not attempt to circumvent platform security, reverse engineer AI audit algorithms, or manipulate verification seals.
- Transactions or content that violate State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) directives, or applicable Pakistani laws are prohibited.
Pricing, Currency & Payment Terms
- All service fees and subscription tiers are transparently displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) and USD.
- Payments are processed securely via Bank Alfalah, Alfa wallet, and certified international card networks (Visa, Mastercard, PayPak).
- Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly or annual schedule with instant electronic delivery upon payment confirmation.
- You are responsible for ensuring that all card and billing information provided is accurate, authorized, and up to date.
Intellectual Property & Authorship Sovereignty
- You retain 100% full intellectual property ownership of all research papers, manuscripts, and data submitted.
- ScholarMark does not claim any ownership, copyright transfer, or publication rights over your research.
- Submitted manuscripts are never used for public AI model training or data commercialization.
- ScholarMark platform software, trademarks, brand assets, and proprietary UI are the exclusive property of DECENTRASEC (PRIVATE) LIMITED.
Data Protection & Privacy
- All customer data is processed in accordance with our comprehensive Privacy Policy.
- End-to-end data transmission is protected via TLS 1.2+ encryption, and stored manuscripts are secured using AES-256 standard encryption.
- Payment card information is handled exclusively through PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways; we never store raw card numbers.
Governing Law & Dispute Jurisdiction
- These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
- Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Karachi, Pakistan.
- Our total liability in connection with any claim is strictly limited to the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Account Responsibilities & Termination
- Users are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent activities.
- Users may terminate their account at any time via settings or by emailing partners@decentrasec.com.
Modifications to Terms
- DECENTRASEC (PRIVATE) LIMITED reserves the right to amend these Terms to reflect legislative changes, platform updates, or bank regulatory requirements.
- Material modifications will be notified via email or a prominent banner on the platform.
